FRANDY (Gleneagles). Drew Carrie & Tom Gordon (Paisley) kept 10 fish weighing 26lb 4oz. Billy Thomson (Auchterarder) kept 5 fish weighing 14lb. Sandy Forgan & Ian Andrews (Broughty Ferry) kept 5 fish weighing 12lb 8oz. Bill Ramage (Alvca) kept 4 fish weighing 10lb & released a further 5. Bobby Conlon (East Kilbride) & party kept 10 fish weighing 26lb 14oz. Brian & Xin Xin Cameron (Menstrie) kept 4 fish weighing 10lb. Gerry Grattan (Clackmannan) kept 9 fish weighing 26lb & released a further 11. George bRose & Brian Smart (Scone) kept 6 fish weighing 15lb.
Club Returns: Pentland Civil Service A/C kept0 fish weighing 98lb 12oz & released a further 7. IBM Freshwater A/C kept 16 fish weighing 39lb 4oz. Rainbow A/C kept 23 fish weighing 55lb. Drew Carrie & Tom Gordon from Paisley kept 10 fish weighing 26lb 4oz, Billy Thomson, Auchterarder, 5 fish for 14lb, Sandy Forgan & Ian Andrews, Broughty Ferry, 5 fish for 12lb 8oz, Bill Ramage, Alva, 4 for 10lb and released a further 5 and Bobby Conlon and party from East Kilbride kept 10 fish weighing 26lb 14oz. Brian & Xin Xin Cameron from Menstrie took 4 fish weighing 10lb, Gerry Grattan, Clackmannan, 9 fish for 26lb and 11and George Rose & Brian Smart from Scone had 6 fish weighing 15lb.
On the angling club front Pentland Civil Service A/C had a catch weighing 98lb 12oz and released a further 7, IBM Freshwater A/C kept 16 fish weighing 39lb 4oz, Rainbow A/C 23 fish for 55lb, Brax A/C took 4 fish for 9lb 8oz, Ferry Fly Dressers A/C 26 fish for 57lb 12oz and the Stanley A/C kept 20 fish weighing 44lb 2oz.
The top catching flies have included the Bibio Hopper, Sedge Muddler, Kate Maclaren Muddler, Cats Whisker, Sedgehog, Cormorants and the Foam Backed Daddy whilst all areas are producing good baskets.

2. ORCHILL LOCH (Braco) It was a quiet week due to the poor weather but the anglers who were fishing have been catching plenty of trout on the dry fly, Buzzers and a wide variety of lures all on the top or just under the surface. On Saturday the Goth FFC had 43 fish for 131lbs 7oz with Billy Weir having the heaviest basket with 4 fish for 16lbs on Buzzers and Allan McQueen came second with 4 fish for 14lbs. Bobby Scotland from Stirling caught a cracking fish weighing 7lbs 8oz on an Orange Blob, Jimmy Linton, Moodiesburn, 4 fish for 11lbs 12oz on a Daddy, Harry Graham, Glenrothes, 1 for 8lbs on a Wotsit and H McLean from Oban caught 3 fish for 8lbs 12oz on Hoppers. A Laurie from Dumbarton had 2 for 6lbs 12oz on Buzzers, Bill Dawson, Dollar, used an Ace of Spades to take 3 for 9lbs 8oz, Peter McLean, Clackmannan, 2 fish for 6lbs 8oz on a Black Pennell, David Birkmyre, Crieff, 2 fish for 8lbs on an Ace of Spades and Bobby Wilson from Falkirk used dries to take a brace weighing in at 6lbs.
